Porota EUvsVirus Hackathon identifikovala najlepšie riešenia na podporu Európy a celosvetového boja proti prepuknutiu koronavírusu. Na hackatone sa zúčastnilo viac ako 20 900 ľudí z celej EÚ a mimo nej, ktorí predložili 2160 riešení v oblastiach vrátane zdravia a života (898), kontinuity podnikania (381), práce na diaľku a vzdelávania (270), sociálnej a politickej súdržnosti (452), digitálneho financovania (75) a iných výziev (83).
V spolupráci so súkromnými a verejnými partnermi z Európy i mimo nej udeľujeme najlepšie tímy a riešenia za každú z 37 výziev, ako aj víťaza a dva víťazné tímy. Spolu 117 z 2160 riešení!
Po EUvsVirus Hackathon budú všetci víťazi pozvaní na Matchathon, ktorý sa uskutoční od 22. do 25. mája na novej platforme EIC COVID. Toto online podujatie uľahčí vytváranie kontaktov s koncovými používateľmi, ako sú nemocnice, a poskytne prístup k investorom, podnikom, nadáciám a iným možnostiam financovania z celej EÚ.
Partneri rozdelia celkovo viac ako 100 tisíc EUR, ktoré venujú partnerské organizácie, víťazom ich výberu odmeniť súťažiacich za ich tvrdú prácu a nové riešenia s najväčším potenciálom zachrániť životy a priblížiť život v globálnej pandémii k normálu.

- Linistry for safe retail (Hungary) for their remote queuing solution to ensure social distancing in retail industry (Business Continuity category)
- Aidbind (Bulgaria, Germany, Malta, Sweden, Switzerland) for their solution to the information gap between demand, supply and funding of medical products, procured via donations and charity. Social and political cohesion category)
- The Village – Where The World Is Your Classroom (Switzerland, Ukraine, United States, India) for their online village platform that you can share with friends, family, teachers and peers for experiential virtual learning (remote working and education category)
- Bankera Business Care (Lithuania) for their solution to provide SMEs with short-term financing to cover their liquidity needs during times of crisis (Digital finance category)
- Sewers4COVID (Greece, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom) for their sewer surveillance platform for early virus detection to help decision makers direct resources where they are most needed (‘Other’ category)
